The young BAXI Manresa guard Marc Peñarroya is one of the twelve players who will make up a Spanish under-19 team that will start the category World Cup on Saturday in Latvia. The state team is in Group C of the competition, based in Riga, along with the teams of Argentina, France and South Korea.

The Spanish team will debut on Saturday at 13:30 against the Argentines, the next day at the same time they will face the French and on Tuesday at 10:30 they will close the group stage against the Koreans. The four teams will advance to the round of 16, which will be played on Wednesday, in which the Peñarroya team will play against one of the members of Group D (Turkey, Mali, Australia and the United States). The quarterfinals will be on Friday, the semifinals on Saturday and the match for third place and the final on Sunday. All championship duels can be watched live via FIBA's YouTube channel.
