BAXI Manresa showed a good image on one of the most difficult courts on the European continent, that of a Real Madrid that is the current champion of the Endesa League (103-89). Those from Bages, led by a Vaulet who had a great game, competed until the last moments against their powerful rival.

The whites made a better start and immediately took control of the electronics against some reds who were trying to contain their attacks. At the end of the first quarter, a seven-point difference for the home team (23-16).

In the second the tone did not change too much, and some visitors led by Vaulet were only five points away (32-27). However, two three-pointers from Musa and Abalde made the madridistas open the gap again and forced Pedro Martínez to stop the game. From there, basket exchange until the break (46-35).

The start of the second part had a clear protagonist: Fabien Causeur. The Frenchman scored four three-pointers in a few seconds and made Chus Mateo's men escape on the scoreboard (60-37). On the Manresa side, Waczynski, with three three-pointers, prevented Madrid from making more blood (80-61 at the end of the third quarter).

In the last ten minutes the Reds did not give up and, led once again by Vaulet, they closed the gap to just eleven points after a three-pointer by Badio (96-85). However, the whites did not allow surprises and finished ensuring the victory.

BAXI Manresa's next game will be on Saturday at 20:45, with the visit of Surne Bilbao Basket to the Nou Congost.
